Privacy Policy
As a privacy-focused service, We understand how important it is for our customers to know in detail what personal information We collect, store and process. We have done everything possible to keep our policy on this matter as simple and clear as possible so that you can get the facts you need.
What information is collected and stored about visitors of our website?
We respect your privacy, and to make your privacy as strong as possible we collect a minimum of information — only your email address in the case of a premium subscription. The email is required so that a customer can use the VPN on up to 10 different devices with a single subscription. We do not ask for or store your name, IP address, physical address, phone number or any other personal information. Payments are processed via trusted payment gateways that use a secure connection. We do not retain any payment details in our system. Subscriptions are renewed by assigning a unique id to each account.
What information do We collect and store when you sign up for our VPN service?

We do not ask for or store your name, IP address, physical address, phone number or any other personal information. Payments are processed via trusted payment gateways that use a secure connection. What information is recorded while customers are connected to our VPN service?
We keep a transient connection journal for technical purposes — including the random generation of names and the internal assignment of an IP address (a private IP) — which is securely erased every few hours. We strictly and deliberately do not record any other information, in order to limit our legal exposure.
To optimize the network connection, information about a specific device — such as the OS version, the device model and the IP address — is shown in our system only temporarily, solely while you are using the device, and is not stored or transmitted anywhere. After the app session ends, all of the above information becomes inaccessible to anyone.
We do not use files, trackers or other analytics tools to monitor your use or behavior. We use only the permissions and resources required for the smooth and secure operation of our app. We do not track your browser activity and we keep no records of it. This is simply not possible with our internal interface. All service usage data is anonymous and is not tied to your real, public IP address.
Our VPN app may display ads in the free tier. By accepting this Privacy Policy, you also accept the Privacy Policy of our advertising partner, which may differ slightly from the Limp Secure VPN policy.
What happens if you receive a proper notice of copyright infringement?
Because our customers are anonymous while using the service, such a notice will be sent to limpvpn.com, and our legal team will issue the appropriate response. Because We do not keep connection logs, We cannot link the request to the identity of a customer, even if We were legally required to do so.
How do We act when authorities request customer information?
Our company is registered in the United States of America (State of Ohio). If We receive a court order from an authorized official whose jurisdiction extends to limpvpn.com, our company is obligated to comply with that order. Nevertheless, the company cannot be compelled to hand over data it does not have.
When a user signs up, We ask for a minimum of information — only a valid email address. If it ever becomes legally required for us to keep records of our customers' connections or to collect any personal data about their internet activity, We will notify our users immediately and do everything in our power to change jurisdiction or shut down our service in order to protect those who entrusted us with their privacy.
Changes to the privacy policy
The limpvpn.com service reserves the right to change the stated privacy policy rules at any time. In such cases We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that such changes are made known to you — by posting all changes prominently on the limpvpn.com website for a reasonable period of time before the new policy takes effect, and by notifying all existing customers by email.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and providing you with an excellent user experience. If you have any questions or comments about the policy above, please feel free to let us know by writing to support@limpvpn.com.
