HEIC to JPG Converter
Turn iPhone HEIC and HEIF photos into JPG, PNG or a single PDF without uploading them anywhere. The conversion runs locally in your browser, works on phones and computers, and strips location data from every photo it saves.
Files are processed right in your browser and never uploaded to a server. Open-source libraries
TL;DR. Drop up to 20 HEIC files, pick JPG, PNG or PDF, and download the results. Everything happens on your device, so your photos are never sent to a server. JPG quality is adjustable from 60 to 100, with 90 as the default.
How to convert HEIC to JPG
Add your photos
Drag HEIC or HEIF files into the drop zone or tap to pick them from your phone or computer. You can add up to 20 files at once, each up to 100 MB.
Choose the output format
Select JPG for the widest compatibility, PNG for lossless output, or PDF to combine all photos into one document.
Set the JPG quality
Move the quality slider between 60 and 100. The default of 90 keeps photos sharp while keeping files reasonably small.
Download the results
Save each file individually or click Download all (ZIP) to grab every converted photo in a single archive.
Your photos stay on your device
The converter decodes and re-encodes each photo inside your browser tab. The HEIC decoder is downloaded once on first use and cached by the browser, so later conversions start faster and need no extra downloads.
You can check this yourself. Open DevTools (F12 on Windows, Cmd+Option+I on Mac), switch to the Network tab and start a conversion. You will see only scripts loading from the same domain and no requests carrying your photo.
Because every image is redrawn from scratch, EXIF metadata, including GPS coordinates, is always removed. That makes the output safer to share in chats, marketplaces and forums.
How to open HEIC files on Windows
Windows does not always open HEIC out of the box. Depending on the version, you may need an extra codec from the Microsoft Store before Photos can display the files.
The quicker route is to convert them to JPG here. The result opens in any Windows app, from Paint to Word, with no extensions to install.
When to pick PNG or PDF instead
- PNG: lossless output for editing, screenshots or images you plan to process further.
- PDF: one document with all photos, handy for receipts, documents shot on a phone or sending a set of pictures by email.
- JPG: the best choice for sharing, uploading and printing at a reasonable file size.
